FAQ

QUESTION #1: Is the Musqueam/UNYA Homework Club reserved for students in grades 8-12?

ANSWER: Yes – Homework Club is reserved for students in grades 8-12. If you need assistance with homework, school projects and/or exam prep, we encourage you to come to Homework Club. Our tutors would be delighted to help you.

QUESTION #2: I just entered grade 8. Can I still join the Math & Science Club and/or Reading Club?

ANSWER: Yes – an eighth grader may still participate in either club, but since these clubs are designed for youth ages 7-12 (elementary school age), the activities may seem too easy (if that is the case, consider participating as a volunteer). See the answer to question #3.

QUESTION #3: How can high school students get involved with the Math & Science Club and/or Reading Club?

ANSWER: High school students may participate in the Math & Science Club and Reading Club as volunteers! As a volunteer, you will work alongside UBC student volunteers to support the program. If you are interested in being a volunteer, please contact Ryanne James for further information.
