Gathering Our Voices – Aboriginal Youth Conference

“The Gathering Our Voices Aboriginal Youth Conference is hosted by the BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres (BCAAFC) and their Provincial Aboriginal Youth Council (PAYC). Youth delegates and chaperones from all over B.C. and the country travel at their own expense to attend these conferences. The purpose of these conferences is to unite youth throughout the country in learning, healing and sharing and to provide tangible experiences of tools, resources and knowledge that the youth can bring back to their communities.” – BCAAFC

This year, 19 Musqueam youth and 4 chaperones traveled to Prince George to meet over 1600 participants. GOV 2016 will be hosted in Victoria. To get involved as a youth, please contact: youthoutreach@musqueam.bc.ca.
